Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the Dillon Street
Drain Tile Project 2021 was awarded on June 3, 2021, to Drew Cook & Sons
Excavating Co., Inc., in the bid amount of $53,377.50.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the Dillon Street Drain Tile
Project 2021 be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

The Dillon Street Drain Tile Project 2021 will provide for the installation of approximately
945 linear feet of 6-inch solid drain tile and 4-inch perforated drain tile, two single grate
stormwater intakes will also be replaced, approximately 665 linear feet of curb and gutter,
and driveway approach and sidewalk replacement in impacted area. This will allow for
property owner to tie-in to the drain tile to prevent future icing and storm water issues.
