PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps will be hosting the 47 Annual
“Music on the March” drum corps event on Wednesday, June 30,
2010, and the “Music on the March 2” event on Sunday, August 8,
2010, at Dalzell Field at Senior High School; and
WHEREAS, almost 1,200 young people will perform for 2,200 audience members
in one of two cities in the country to be given the opportunity to host
two shows this summer; and
WHEREAS, this year’s line-up features open class corps such as the Colt Cadets
and will include two past national champion corps.
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, STAFF AND CITIZENS OF DUBUQUE,
OFFICIALLY WELCOME ALL DRUM AND BUGLE CORPS MEMBERS, THEIR
FAMILIES AND SUPPORT STAFFS ON THE OCCASION OF THESE TWO SPECIAL
EVENTS.
