The City of Dubuque Zoning Advisory Commission has reviewed the above -cited
request. The application, staff report and related materials are attached for your review.
Discussion
Staff reviewed the submitted Final Plat, noting that the plat facilitates street and public
utility improvements in the Historic Millwork District.
There were no public comments.
The Zoning Advisory Commission felt the request was appropriate.
Recommendation
By a vote of 5 to 0, with one abstention, the Zoning Advisory Commission recommends
that the City Council approve the request.
A simple majority vote is needed for the City Council to approve the request.

SUBJECT: Final Plat of Center City Place #2
INTRODUCTION
The submitted Final Plat of Center City Place #2 facilitates street and public utility
improvements in the Historic Millwork District.
DISCUSSION
The submitted Final Plat dedicates right -of -way for the continuation and construction of
Washington Street as well as reconstruction and improvements to E. 10 Street. Lot 1
is the site of one of the principal buildings for the former Eagle Window & Door factory,
while Lot 2 facilitates the continued access to a loading dock for the property on the
west side of Washington Street.
RECOMMENDATION
Planning staff recommends that the Zoning Advisory Commission approve the
submitted final plat of Center City Place #2 as it is in substantial compliance with the
City of Dubuque Subdivision Regulations.

RESOLUTION NO. 193-10
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF SURVEY CENTER CITY PLACE #2 IN THE CITY
OF DUBUQUE, IOWA.
Whereas, there has been filed with the City Clerk a Final Plat of Survey of Center City Place #2 in
the City of Dubuque, Iowa, and;
Whereas, upon said Final Plat appears streets to be known as East 10 Street (Lot A) and
Washington Street (Lot B), together with certain public easements, which the owner, by said Final Plat,
has dedicated to the public forever; and
Whereas, said Final Plat has been examined by the Zoning Advisory Commission and had its
approval endorsed thereon; and
Whereas, said Final Plat has been examined by the City Council and they find that it conforms to
the statutes and ordinances relating to it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE,
IOWA:
Section 1. That the dedication of East 10 Street (Lot A) and Washington Street (Lot B), and
easements as they appear upon said Final Plat, be and the same are hereby accepted; and
Section 2. That the Final Plat of Center City Place #2 is hereby approved and the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to endorse the approval of the City of Dubuque, Iowa,
upon said Final Plat.
