The application, staff report and related materials are attached for your review. Discussion Staff reviewed the submitted Final Plat, noting that it will facilitate street and public utility improvements in the Historic Millwork District. There were no public comments. The Zoning Advisory Commission felt the request was appropriate. Recommendation By a vote of 5 to 0, with one abstention, the Zoning Advisory Commission recommends that the City Council approve the request. A simple majority vote is needed for the City Council to approve the request. Lot 1 is another portion of the former Eagle Window & Door factory while Lot 2 provides continued access to a loading dock for the property on the west side of the newly dedicated Washington Street. RECOMMENDATION Planning staff recommends that the Zoning Advisory Commission approve the submitted Final Plat of Center City Place #3 as it is in substantial compliance with the City of Dubuque Subdivision Regulations..,. RESOLUTION NO. 194-10 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF CENTER CITY PLACE #3 IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA. Whereas, there has been filed with the City Clerk a Final Plat of Survey of Center City Place #3 in the City of Dubuque, Iowa, and; Whereas, upon said Final Plat appears streets to be known as East 10 Street (Lot A) and Washington Street (Lot B), together with certain public easements, which the owner, by said Final Plat, has dedicated to the public forever; and Whereas, said Final Plat has been examined by the Zoning Advisory Commission and had its approval endorsed thereon; and Whereas, said Final Plat has been examined by the City Council and they find that it conforms to the statutes and ordinances relating to it. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA: Section 1. That the dedication of East 10 Street (Lot A) and Washington Street (Lot B), and easements as they appear upon said Final Plat, be and the same are hereby accepted; and Section 2. That the Final Plat of Center City Place #3 is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to endorse the approval of the City of Dubuque, Iowa, upon said Final Plat.
