The Fire Station #4 Re -Roof 2010 Project provides for the: removal of the existing
member roof insulation and metal edge flashing; and the installation of a new roof,
membrane roof, and metal edge flashing.
Based on Iowa Code § 384.103 and § 364.12(3)(c), and through the competitive
quotation process for public improvements, this project was awarded on April 14, 2010
to Giese Roofing Co. of Dubuque, Iowa, with the low bid amount of $31,753.00.
In accordance with the competitive quotation requirements of Iowa Code, Section 26.14,
it is necessary that the award for the Fire Station #4 Re -Roof 2010 Project be officially
recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
