specifications, form of contract and the estimated cost of $97,584.63 for the Dubuque
Regional Airport Jet Center Drive Resurfacing Project.

INTRODUCTION
The enclosed resolution is in reference to the public hearing for the Dubuque Regional
Airport Jet Center Drive Resurfacing Project.

The Dubuque Regional Airport Jet Center Drive Resurfacing Project will involve the
asphalt resurfacing and concrete panel replacement of Jet Center Drive.
The project will include:
— Pavement scarification and resurfacing of Jet Center Drive with 3 inches of asphalt
from the main entrance drive to just east of the Bradley Jo Charter entrance drive.
— Replacement of 546 square yards of concrete pavement at the west end of Jet
Center Drive.
The existing road service has deteriorated significantly in areas of the street. A portion
of the street will have 2 inches of asphalt removed and 3 inches of asphalt placed back
to add structural support. The majority of the concrete pavement at the west end of the
drive will be replaced.
This project will be constructed in two phases to allow for traffic to access Bradley Jo
Charter Service, Jackson Concrete Pumping, Inc. and the Army Reserve Center.
recommend that the City Council approve the plans, specifications, form of contract
and the estimated cost for the Dubuque Regional Airport Jet Center Drive Resurfacing
Project.

The estimate of probable cost for the Dubuque Regional Airport Jet Center Drive
Resurfacing Project is as follows:
