SPECIAL SESSION

The Dubuque City Council met in special session at 5:00 p.m. on June 23, 2021, in the
Jule Operations and Training Center, East View Conference Room 2.
Present: Mayor Buol (via phone); Council Members Cavanagh, Farber, Jones,
Resnick, Roussell, Sprank; City Manager Van Milligen, and City Attorney Brumwell.
Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called
for the purpose of conducting a Closed Session pursuant to Chapter 21.5(1)(i) Code of
Iowa.
CLOSED SESSION
Motion by Roussell to convene in closed session at 5:02 p.m. to discuss professional
evaluations — Chapter 21.5(1)(i) Code of Iowa. Seconded by Farber. Motion carried 7-0.
Upon motion, the City Council reconvened in open session at 7:13 p.m.
There being no further business, Mayor Buol declared the meeting adjourned at 7:14
p.m.
