PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, RAGBRAI, the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across
Iowa, is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across the state of
th
Iowa. Heading into its 38 year, RAGBRAI is the oldest, largest
and longest bicycle touring event in the world; and
WHEREAS, over 10,000 riders from across the United States and 16 different
countries have signed on for RAGBRAI 2010, and more than
15,000 individuals will converge on Dubuque; and
WHEREAS, RAGBRAI, the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across
Iowa, will end on July 31, 2010 in the Port of Dubuque.
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA,
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, STAFF AND CITIZENS OF DUBUQUE, DO
