OF COUNSEL
RICHARD P. ROEDELL
July 31, 1974
The Dubuque Advisory Commission held its monthly
meeting on July 23, 1974.
This is to report to you that the Advisory Commission
had eight of their twelve members present, and they unanimously
approved the proposal of the Five Flags Center and ice-skating
facility as presented by Dick Slattery and Wayne Norman, Sr.
The Advisory Commission also took under advisement
the proposal that was referred to the Advisory Commission by
the City Council concerning the possible change of the make-up
of the Advisory Commission. This matter will be taken up again
on our August 27th meeting.
I would certainly like, if you think it is necessary
or advisable, to present to the Council our endorsement at the
meeting in which the Recreation Commission will present the
petitions asking for a referendum.
Sincerely yours-,,_ '
