Enclosed is a copy of a Notice of Appeal & Petition form filed with the Property Assessment
Appeal Board. This protest was also filed for 2009 and we had a hearing on this property on August
16, 2010. We are hoping for a decision in the next two months.
We also have four appeals in District Court for 2010. The four appeals follow:

4) Oak Park Place (Vacant Lots & Townhouses) —
Assessed: $1,149,860- Petition: $891,900
This notification is required under 441.37A (1) d of the Code of Iowa. The appeals are for 2010
assessments of value and would affect taxes payable in the fall of 2011 and the spring of 2012.
