From: Ruthbikes @aol.com [mailto:Ruthbikes @ aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, August 10, 2010 8:06 PM To: Kelley Deutmeyer Cc: Candace Eudaley; Bridget Bartlett Subject: Re the Transit Board Dear Kelley, As you know, I was to be sworn in again on Thursday, August 12, 2010 to serve another term on the Transit Board. I'm sorry to report that I will be unable to do so, however. Our son has developed some serious health problems and I need to be prepared to help with child care, if needed, at any time. Therefore, I do not want to be tied up with a meeting, nor do I want to be absent frequently from such meetings. I wish you and your staff well as you continue to serve the community in the capacity of providing adequate transportation for all regardless of socioeconomic level or handicapping condition. This is a critically important service. Sincerely, Ruth Scharnau Page 1 of 1 file: / /C: \Documents and Settings \jsclmeid \Local Settings \Temp\XPgrpwise \4C625B04D... 08/11/2010
