PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Community Wellness Day is a national event focusing on educating
our community on important health information critical to the total
wellness of all of our residents, which will empower them to take
responsibility for their health and wellbeing; and
WHEREAS, Family First Chiropractic Wellness Center will host Dubuque’s
Community Wellness Day on Sunday, October 3, 2010, from noon to
3:00 p.m. at Eleanor Roosevelt Middle School; and
WHEREAS, this event will provide health screenings and information on drug and
alcohol awareness. Local law enforcement representatives and
firefighters will provide information on securing personal identification
and fire prevention and safety for families, children and seniors; and
WHEREAS, this free event benefits the Every Child / Every Promise program and
includes a raffle, entertainment, food and fun for all ages;
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, STAFF AND CITIZENS OF DUBUQUE, DO HEREBY

PROCLAIM THE 3 OF OCTOBER, 2010 AS
“COMMUNITY WELLNESS DAY”
IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, and encourage all citizens to participate in this
worthwhile event.
