Joint Board, Special Couler Valley Urban
Drainage District Meeting
Board Met on Monday, October 16, 1995, 6:00
p in, Public Library Auditorium.
Present Chai per_on Duggan, Board Member_
Nichol --on, Robbins, Voetberg, Waller, Smith and
Mantemach.
Absent Board Member_ Kluemer, Krieg,
Nagle.
Council Member Nichohon requested
discussion on the condition of the Sageville
Drainage District
Verbal request from Ellen Hall to address Joint
Board regarding cleaning the Sageville drainage
ditch Ellen Hall addressed the Board stressing
that there a always standing water in the ditch and
that it has never been cleaned even though the
County has received money to clean the ditches_
Merle Freiburger stressed he had been in this
area 71 year_ and stated that the ditch has to be
wider than the 3' diameter.
Board Member Smith moved that they contact
Larry Wihon of the DNR and the Amry Corps of
Engineer_ to check into this problem and meet with
them for a possible soluuom Seconded by Board
Member Voetberg Vote on the motion was as
follow> Yeas —Chaff per_on Duggan, Board
Member_ Nichohon, Robbins, Voetberg, Waller,
Smith, Mantenach Nays —None
Absent —Board Member_ Kluemer, Krieg, Nagle
Board Member Smith moved that this Board
submit a formal application for an EDA grant to
assist with the problem Seconded by Board
Member Nichohon Vote on the motion was as
follow> Yees—Board Member_ Nichohow
Waller, Smith Nays —Chaff per_on Duggan,
Board Member_ Robbins, Voetberg, Mantenach
Absent —Board Member_ Kluemer, Krieg, Nagle
There being no further business, Board Member
Mantemach moved to adjourn. Seconded by
Board Member Voetberg Vote on the motion was
