We are pleased to inform you that the property listPl above has been recommended
by the State Nominations Review Committee for inclusion in the National Register
of Historic Places. Aft_Pr 20 days, the nomination will be forwarded to
Washington D. C. for a final determination of its eligibility by the Department
of Interior.
This 20 day waiting period, commencing with the date of this letter, has been
established in order to give property owners another opportunity to submit
written comments concerning the historical or architectural importance of
the property in nomination. These comments will be forwarded by us to the
Department of Interior along with the nomination form. Persons who have
already submitted such comments are encouraged to comment once again only
if they have more information to add.
The Department of Interior generally makes their decision 3 to 4 months after
receiving the nomination. This time period may vary considerably with
individual nominations, however, depending on circumstances and the number
of nominations under review in Washington. When our office receives notification
of the Interior Department's final decision, we will then forward this
information to owners of nomination properties.
