Request to Rezone - 2750 Balboa Drive - Presentation of Comparable Property Values by Ruhl & RuhlCity Council Review For 2750 Balboa Rezoning Monday 03/16/2015 Ruhl &Ruhl R EA LTORS Dear Mr. Mayor, and members of the Dubuque City Council. My name is Harry Blewett, and have been an active Realtor with the Dubuque Board of Realtors for over 13 years. I am also on the Advisory Board for Mary's Inn and I am the Buyer Realtor for the property at 2750 Balboa, Dubuque IA. It has been brought to my attention that there are concerns with property values decreasing, when located close to a Group Home, such as Mary's Inn. I have had the pleasure with working with Area Residential Care for about 12 years. I can tell you that I have never had an issue with A.R.C. homes and or neighbors. I have had only positive comments from the adjoining properties. They say they are the best neighbors you could ask for. The grounds are always kept up, the house is always taken care of, and many times you don't realize anyone lives there. To address the property values, I have enclosed four homes that I believe show positive property values for homes located next to Area Residential Group homes.
