Petitions To Preserve The Town Clock PlazaRE:
Dear Mayor Terry and Councilpersons:
Enclosed are several more petitions, with about 65 signatures.
These were apparently signed after Larry Friedman sent you the
other petitions.
Most of the people who work downtown believe the Town Clock Plaza
should be left in its present form, with some pavement
reconstruction.The "repair"expenditures would be a lot less
than the cost of destroying the plaza or redoing the entire plaza(with destruction of trees,etc.).
Many of us wonder where the impetus is coming from to keep this
issue "under study",especially considering the cost of these"studies".
Yours t.
David W.L^nfker
