Vehicle Damage
This is a claim in which the claimant alleges that while a City of Dubuque Transit
employee was attempting to park a minibus, the minibus struck claimant's parked 1997
Chevy Malibu.
According to the report of Mark Munson, Transit Manager, a Keyline minibus did strike
claimant's vehicle on September 3, 2003.
It is therefore the recommendation of Mark Munson to approve this claim for the amount of
the estimate of $417.92. The Legal Department concurs with this recommendation.

Vehicle Accident 9/3/03
Dennis Corkery was driving vehicle # 2551 on Rhomberg Avenue.
This vehicle is a para transit vehicle. When he was attempting to
park the vehicle on Rhomberg he struck a vehicle owned by
Shawn Kohnen, doing minor damage. Mr. C0rkery and Tom
Kohnen (husband) exchanged information, both agreeing the
damage was under $1000.00.
Attached please find a estimate of damage to the Kohnen vehicle
in the amount ors 41T92. Mr. Corkery does admit that he hit the
vehicle. I would ask that you approved payment of this claim,
