The Dubuque Downtown Comprehensive Plan focuses on culture & education, commerce, public & open spaces, transit, housing, and historic character. These six areas focus and support the proposed City Vision:~ 1. The City of Dubuque is a growing city with a strong balanced economy and connections to the world, 2. The Dubuque Community takes pride in our history and heritage and has actively preserved our picturesque river and community, 3. Dubuque Citizens have choices of quality livable neighborhoods and fun things to do., 4. Dubuque City Government is financially sound and providing services with citizens getting value. As a proud supporter of the entire City of Dubuque, I believe its heart lies in a vibrant and active downtown. It's important for this to be recognized as a top priority.
