read the call and stated
this is a special session of
the City Council called for
the purpose of conducting
a worksession on the
Transit Alternatives Analy--
sis.
Dan Meyers and Eric
Padget of URS Corp,
Minneapolis, MN pre-
sented a project update on
the Transit Alternatives
Analysis study which
included a review of the
five alternative systems
which have been identified
to provide transit service
between the Port of Du-,
buque and downtown
Dubuque. These alterna-
tives include a "No Build"
system, two rubber -
wheeled systems and
three steel -wheeled sys-
tems. Another update will
be provided in September,
2003.

at 6:36 p.m.
