Van Milligen, City Manager Annexation The City of Dubuque has received an additional request for voluntary annexation from Kenneth and Maurine Harris. The request was received after the original August 14 deadline, but can be included in the annexation plan for approximately 700 acres on the west side of Dubuque. I respectfully recommend that this letter be accepted with the previously submitted information. The Harrises previously were among the non-consenting property owners for the planned annexation of approximately 700 acres on the west side of Dubuque. Their parcel is #13o on the annexation map. The Harrises' annexation request is concurrent with rezoning to LI Light Industrial District. LI zoning is the same zoning requested by Joel Callahan for the surrounding property, which is parcel #12 on the annexation map. The enclosed chart lists the parcel number, property owner, acreage, and whether the owner has consented to the voluntary annexation. It has been updated to include the Harrises' request. Since the Harrises have submitted their request after the August 14 deadline, they are not a party to the annexation agreement signed by the other property owners who requested voluntary annexation.
