Dear Senator Grassley:
SEP 1 7 2010
Thank you for your letter of September 1 regarding support for the Federal funding proposal
under the Transit Investment for Greenhouse Gas and Energy Reduction (TIGGER) program
which was submitted by the City of Dubuque Keyline Transit.
The Federal Transit Administration has received the proposal and is currently evaluating it
according to criteria outlined in the Notice of Funding Availability on the TIGGER program as
published in the Federal Register on April 13, 2010. We have received many proposals under
this program and hope to complete our evaluation of all of them later this summer. Our goal is to
make announcements on the selected grant recipients by the end of the current fiscal year.
Thank you for your continued interest in the mass transportation needs of our country. If I can
provide further information or assistance, please feel free to contact me directly on
(202) 366 -4040.
Sincerely yours,
Peter Rogoff
