Proclamation_Hospice of Dubuque Month November 2010
PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Hospice of Dubuque, a community, nonprofit organization, has been
serving the tri-state area for 27 years and continues to provide
exceptional care; and
WHEREAS, Hospice of Dubuque exists solely to fulfill its mission of providing
compassionate care for the terminally ill and their loved ones; and
WHEREAS all patient care decisions are guided by this mission; and
,
WHEREAS regardless of diagnosis, residence, or insurance, all those desiring
,
hospice services and those who meet the admission criteria will
receive the care to which they are entitled.
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA,
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, STAFF AND CITIZENS OF DUBUQUE, DO
HEREBY PROCLAIM THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2010, AS
“HOSPICE MONTH”
IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, AND INVITE THE DUBUQUE COMMUNITY TO
BECOME AN EXTENSION OF THESE HELPING HANDS THAT TOUCH THE LIVES
OF OUR TRI-STATE NEIGHBORS AT A MOST DIFFICULT AND VULNERABLE
TIME. TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
