Project - Phase 11
DATE: October 25, 2010
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos is recommending acceptance of the public improvements
project and the construction contract for the North Fork Catfish Creek Stormwater and
Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project – Phase II, as completed by Portzen
Construction, Inc., in the final contract amount of $1,052,308.47, which is a 5.5%
increase from the original contract amount of $997,168.00. The main reason for the
increase was due to soil conditions that required a wider trench resulting in more backfill
and pavement restoration.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.
