Fact Sheet about the Revised 1990 Census Boundaries and Counts
Between decennial censuses the Census Bureau conducts the
Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS) to collect detailed
information on any changes to the legal boundaries of
governmental units due to annexations, detachments, mergers,
and so forth.
The Census Bureau recognized the legal boundaries in effect on
January 1, 1990 for tabulating the 1990 census. The Census
Bureau has received responses to the BAS conducted in 1991 and
1992 that show changes to the January 1, 1990 legal boundaries
for some governmental units. These changes should have been
recognized for tabulating the 1990 census, but were not. In
these situations, the Census Bureau has corrected the 1990 census
records to reflect the certified legal boundary in effect on
January 1, 1990.
To provide the most accurate population and housing unit counts
for the 1990 census, the Census Bureau has reviewed the
1990 census records in conjunction with the revised boundaries
to ensure that individual living quarters and their associated
population, if any, are assigned to the correct governmental
unit. The enclosed statement of the revised census counts
reflects the corrections that resulted from this review.

HOW GREAT TI IL YIELD
FROM A FERTILE FIELD
The farmer ploughs
through the fields of green
And the blade of the plough
is sharp and keen,
But the seed must be sown
to bring forth grain,
For nothing is born
without suffering and pain —
And God never ploughs in the soul of man
Without intention and purpose and plan
So whenever you feel
the plough's sharp blade
Let not your heart be sorely afraid
For, like the farmer, God chooses a field
From which He expects an excellent yield —
So rejoice though your heart is broken in two,
God seeks to bring forth
a rich harvest in you.

Our Father knows
what's best for us,
So wh3 should we complain —
We always want the sunshine,
But He knows there must be rain —
We love the sound of laughter
And the merriment of cheer,
But our hearts would lose
their tenderness
If we never shed a tear .
So whenever we are troubled
And life has lost its song
It's God testing us
with burdens
Just to make
Our Spirit Strong!
Life's Weaving
My life is but n weaving
Between my God and me;
1 may not choose the colors,
He knows what they should be
For He can view the pattern
Upon the upper side,
While 1 can see it only
On this, the under side.
Sometimes He weaveth sorrow,
Which seemeth strange to me;
But 1 will trust His judgement,
And work on faithfully;
'Tis He who fills the shuffle,
He knows just what is best;
So 1 shall weave in earnest
And leave with Him the rest.
At last, when life is ended,
With Him I shall abide,
Then I may view the pattern
Upon the upper side;
Then I shall know the reason
Why pain with joy entwined,
Was woven in the fabric
Of life that God designed.
