It has been my honor to serve as Human Rights Commissioner. Increased work
responsibilities have demanded a large portion of my time; therefore, after much
thought and consideration, I believe that I can no longer commit to service.
I am proud to have served with the Commissioners and Department of Human Rights.
It is because of their dedication and hard work that Dubuque is on a path to tolerance
and diversity. You have my deepest respect and admiration for guiding this city though
an extraordinary time. Thank you for the opportunity to serve the city of Dubuque.
