Selection of Architect for Baseball Stadium in Port of Dubuque
On December 5, 2003 the City received one response to a Request for Proposals to
provide architectural services for a new Minor League Baseball stadium in the Port of
Dubuque. The proposal was from HOK Spot[ + Venue + Event of Kansas City,
Missouri.
The Capital Improvement Levy referendum did not pass; therefore, funds are not
available to build the stadium. I respectfully recommend that no design contract be
awarded.
