Dear Mayor Dnggan and Council Members:
LOrdS College wishes to offer its full support of the petition submitted by our neighbors
on West 16th in their attempt to obtain a residential parking pem~it district (RPPD).
We have had frequent communications with the residents to whom this request pertains
and agree that a restricted parking area would benefit the neighborhood and the
relationship of those involved.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
John E. Kerrigan

To The Mayor, City Councit Members and The City Manager
Dear Friends,
We as a neighborhood feel that we have met the guidelines for A Residential Parking Permit District. We
understand that the 500 block of West16~ st. has already fi[ed a petition for A Residentiat Parking
Permit District with the City Clerks office, and that they have the fuit support of Loras Cortege behind
them. We have worked with Loras Cottage for many years as a neighborhood and hope to have that same
support. Please consider when parking study is being conducted that two rental properties on Come[[
st. ( 1480 Cornet[ and 1505 Cornet[ ) are vacant at the present time. In the past, when the two
properties in question were rented to capacity, there were as many as 6 (six) edditionat vehictes in the
neighborhood.
We are also asking that/¢~y Ptace be posted no park~m3 on beth sides of the street. We are
requesting this because the street is 18 feet wide with no curb. We feet this is a safety hazard for
homeowners with off street parking as welt as Fire trucks and att Emergency vehictes. At the very [east,
we do want the Residential Parking Permit District estabtished for N~ay Place.
Sincere[y, David A Schroeder

Dea~ City Couucil,
I ~m the owner of the property at the above adress. It h~s come to my
attention by my tenants that students are continually parking ~u front of this
resident. Sometimes the cars even remain for ~ d~y or two. This problem
has intensified following the construction of the new dormitoies very
close by at Lor~s College. A resident parking only s~gn wo~ld certainly help
this situation.
I understand that a request h~s been m~de by Steve Gnbenhein at
553 and 561 Loras for a variance Lu order to put two additional parking
places there. This is only one block from where we are h~ving such
difficult and wo~ld only compound the parking problem.
Th~uk you for yo~ consideration.
Sincerely yottrs,
Robert Nesler
