Annexation IDED Review Date Dep~rtmen~ of IOW SMART IDEATM January16,2004 Dubuque City Council 50 West 13th Street Dubuque, IA 52001 RE: City Development Board Case File NC04-03 Dubuque Attention Dubuque City Council: On January 9, 2004, the City Development Board (CDB) received a proposal for voluntary annexation to the City of Dubuque, CDB Case File No. NC04-03. Upon initial review the proposal appears to be complete and properly filed. The Board will consider the proposal submitted at its meeting on February 12, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the Main Conference Room, Iowa Economic Development, 200 E. Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. At that meeting the Board will review the proposal for annexation for compliance with the filing requirements of Iowa Code {}368 and its administrative rules contained in Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 263. And, may accept the proposal as complete and properly filed and set a date for public headng, or deny the request. The Board will also review an application for voluntary annexation to Asbury that was filed on December 16, 2003, which contains common territory with NC04-03 Dubuque. A file date stamped copy of NC03-03 Dubuque is enclosed.
