There is some deteriorated wood on the stringers and stair treads. 2. The right metal support bracket is deteriorated. 3. The north post is buried in the ground. 4. The handrails are not graspable and must be 34" to 38" high. 5. The guardrails have greater than 6" spacing on the deck and steps. 6. Some stair treads are loose. - 2 7. Additional support on the ledger board is required. 8. This structure appears to need significant repairs and must be done under permit by the Building Safety Department. West rear concrete steps have an inadequate guardrail and the door hood is collapsing. 2. Repair the concrete in front of the west concrete steps. 3. The east rear steps have rotted tread members and the handrail is an inadequate guardrail. This is a Section 8 Complaint inspection. The front porch basement steps need support under the treads and joist hangers or fasteners where stair stringers are attached to the deck. c. The front steps have deteriorated stringers and treads. d. Repair support piers as needed to transfer porch and porch roof loads. e. All handrails must be graspable and be installed at a height of 34"-38". f. Guardrails must be 42" in height and have no greater than a 6" opening. 3. Guardrails must be a minimum 42" in height. The center fire escape on rear of building (open air area between two buildings) is structurally unsound. Repair the bathroom heater cover. The living room right window is deficient a screen, sash balance and has peeling paint. The living room left window is deficient a screen and sash balance.
