Duggan and Members of the City Council DATE: February 24, 2004 RE: Claim Against the City of Dubuque by DanEI' Benn Claimant Date of Claim Date of Loss Nature of Claim DanEI' Benn 02112/04 02/11/04 Vehicle Damage This is a claim in which the claimant alleges that A City of Dubuque fire truck struck her vehicle while it was parked in Municipal Parking Lot #1, located next to Fire Station Headquarters on 9th Street. According to the report of Dan Brown, Fire Chief, the claim of DanEI' Benn is consistent with an incident that involved one of the City of Dubuque fire engines. Chief Brown states that the repairs appear to be reasonable with the damages that he witnessed, It is therefore the recommendation of Dan Brown to approve this claim for the amount of the submitted estimate of $269.04. The Legal Department concurs with this recommendation.
