Dear Mayor Duggan:
We have reviewed the City of Dubuque's audit report for the period July 1, 2002, through
June 30, 2003. There was one finding related to the Department of Housing and Urban
Development (BUD) programs.
Finding II-A-03: Construction Contract Compliance. The City's response included in the
audit report states "The required federal contract language has been provided to all CDBG
subrecipients responsible for construction projects. Subrecipient monitoring procedures have been
changed to' include review of bid documents and contracts to ensure compliance with this
requirement." The response is sufficient to clear the finding.
With this finding cleared, we consider this audit report closed for our purposes.
