Minutes_City Conference Board 3 18 10In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 441.16 of the 2003 Code of Iowa, the
Dubuque City Conference Board met in the Dubuque County Supervisors Chambers, 4th
Floor Court House, 720 Central Ave., Dubuque, Iowa at 4:00 p.m. The purpose of the
meeting is to discuss the Collective Bargaining agreement with the union employees.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Roy Buol at 4:08 p.m.
Roll call was taken. Those present were:

School Board: Otto Krueger
Adam Menning
Supervisors: Eric Manternach

Also present were John Ganshirt, negotiator for the City Conference Board, and Dubuque
City Assessor, Rick Engelken.
Mr. Ganshirt presented the Conference Board with a handout dealing with the Collective
Bargaining Agreement. The main changes are a 2.76% raise and an increase of $100 in
the amount of reimbursement for travel for education. Mr. Ganshirt recommended the
Conference Board approve the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Mr. Lynch made a
motion to approve the Agreement. Mr. Menning seconded the motion. The City Council
and School Board units voted "Aye." The Board of Supervisors voted "Nay ". Motion
carried.
As there was no further business, Ms. Smith made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr.
Jones seconded the motion. All members present voted "Aye." Motion carried.
