The Dubuque City
Council met in special
session at 10:00 a.m.
on March 12, 2011 in
the Historic Federal
Building.
Present: Mayor Buol,
Council Members
Braig, Connors, Jones,
Lynch, Resnick, City
Manager Van Milligen
Mayor Buol read the
call and stated that
this was a special
meeting of the City
Council called for the
purpose of interview-
ing applicants for the
position of Fourth
Ward Council Member.
Mayor Buol stated
that the applicants'
names would be ran-
domly drawn by Mayor
Pro -Tem Braig to de-
termine the order for
the interviews. He re-
quested that each ap-
plicant answer two
questions as part of
their interview: (1)
Their flexibility and
commitment of time;
and (2) How many City
Council meetings had
they attended in the
past.
The following individ-
uals were interviewed:
Patricia Rogaskie, Lynn
Sutton, Jason Ander-
son, Chad Witthoeft,
Erik Honda, Paula
Neuhaus, James Wirth,
Marcos Rubinstein,
Gary Pfab, Cindy Kohl -
mann, Will Mclntee,
Douglas Ropa, R.R.S.
Stewart, Jim Brady,
Chris Wand, and
Charles Winterwood.
There being no fur-
ther business, upon
motion the City Council
adjourned at 11:32 a.m.
