Mayor Meyers read the call and stated that service thereof had been duly made, this being the FIRST MEETING OF THE FISCAL YEAR OF 1971, called for the pur- pose of acting upon such business as may properly come before the meeting, Outgoing Mayor Meyers ex- pressed appreciation and thanks to all Council members, the Staff, all employees from the top to the lowest for the fine cooperation they have given him during his year as Mayor, Councilman Pregler moved that Councilman Couchman be elected to serve as Mayor for the year of I 1971.
