Attached is a signed petition concerning sidewalks along Asbury Road. I expect to get the original to the City
Clerk later this week.
Thank you for the work you have done and for considering this petition.
For your convience this is how the petition reads:
Petition summary and Residents in and around Harvest View Estates request the City of Dubuque to require
background sidewalk on the north side of Asbury Road from JFK to the Northwest Arterial. In
order to provide safe pedestrian access to commercial areas and other residential
neighborhoods and improve the safety of vehicular traffic on Asbury by getting
pedestrians off of the street, we encourage the city to require sidewalks along the
north side of Asbury Road.
Additionally, longer term, we further encourage the City to aggressively pursue a
bicycle path along either side of Asbury to encourage bicycle traffic consistent with
the tourist and family friendly initiatives the City has already taken.
Action petitioned for We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act Røw to
