Dear Mayor Duggan and Members of the City Council:
On behalf of the Board of Education, the administrative staff of the Dubuque
Community School District and particularly the students and neighborhood children
at Bryant and Table Mound Elementary Schools, thank you for your support of
projects to provide playground improvements and playground equipment for these
schools.
The school district is indebted to the City Council, City Manager and to Gil Spence,
Parks and Recreation Director, for their support of these projects. The City of
Dubuque funding of the playground improvements will provide additional
recreational opportunities for students and neighborhood children during and after
school hours and on weekends as well. The school district looks forward to the
successful completion of these projects, thus providing school and neighborhood
children with a safe and stimulating place to play.
Once again, thank you for your cooperative participation in these projects to serve the
needs of both school students and community citizens.
