Approval of Minutes of September 9, 2004
Commissioner Kluesner moved to approve the minutes of the September 9, 2004 meeting.
Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.

Schedule Hearing in the Matter of the Termination of Joshua Abitz
It was determined that it was not possible to schedule the hearing within the timeframe
specified by the Code of Iowa. Steve Juergens, attorney for the Dubuque Police Protective
Association, was contacted by phone and he agreed to an extension of time. Commissioner
Duehr moved to modify the timeline and to schedule the hearing in the matter of the
termination of Joshua Abitz for 3:00 p.m., October 13, 2004 in Conference Room A of City
Hall. Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
