Due to a retirement in a Foreman position in the Leisure Services Department, Leisure
Services Manager Marie Ware and Park Division Manager Bob Fritsch recommend that
this position be replaced with a position titled Natural Resources and Sustainable
Practices Specialist. This position will be covered by the Teamsters Bargaining Unit
and will be compensated at the same rate of pay as Foreman.
Personnel Manager Randy Peck recommends City Council approval of the elimination
of one Foreman position in the Leisure Services Department and creation of the position
Natural Resources and Sustainable Practices Specialist.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.
