RESOLUTION NO. 36-00
ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Whereas, on the 20th day of January, 2000, plans, specifications, form of
contract and estimated cost were filed with the City Clerk of Dubuque, Iowa, for
the installation of a new elevator at the Locust Street Ramp, Dubuque, Iowa.
Whereas, notice of hearing on plans, specifications, form of contract, and
estimated cost was published as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA:
That the plans, specifications, form of contract and cost in the amount of
$65,841.00 are hereby approved for said project.

RESOLUTION NO. 37-00
AWARDING CONTRACT
Whereas, sealed proposal have been submitted by contractors for the
installation of a new elevator at the Locust Street Ramp, Dubuque, Iowa and
notice to bidders has been published in a newspaper published in the City of
Dubuque, Iowa on the 21st day of January, 2000; and
Whereas, said sealed proposal were opened and read on the 1 st day of
February, 2000 and it has been determined that the bid of $65,841.00 in the
amount of Schumacher Elevator Co. was the lowest bid for furnishing materials
as provided for in the plans and specifications.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA:
That the contract for the above project be awarded to Schumacher
Elevator Co. and the Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract on
behalf of the City of Dubuque.
