SUBJECT: Employee Recognition
Joleen Patterson, supervisor of our rehabilitation and homeownership programs at the
Housing Department, was recently recognized by the Iowa National Association of
Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO). She was presented with the 2004
Community Development Award for exemplary service to the community development
profession.
Joleen has been an Iowa NAHRO board member for the past three years and has
implemented a professional development program for rehabilitation officials, State-wide,
administered through NAHRO's annual conferences. She has worked for the City for
the past 32 years.
