Dear Mayor Duggan and Members of the City Council:
On behalf of the Board of Education, the Administrative staff of the
Dubuque Community School District and particularly the students and neighborhood
children at Prescott Elementary School, thank you for your support of the project to
provide playground improvements and playground equipment to Prescott School.
The School District is indebted to the City Council, City Manager and Parks and
Recreation Director for their support of this project. The City of Dubuque funding of the
playground improvements will provide additional recreational opportunities for Prescott
students and neighborhood children during and after school hours and on weekends as
well. The School District looks forward to the successful completion of this project by
May 1, 2000, thus providing school and neighborhood children with a safe and stimulating
place to play.
Once again, thank you for your cooperative participation in this project to serve the
needs of both school students and citizens of the community.
