Van Milligen, City Manager FROM: David Harris, Housing & Community Development Director SUBJECT: Bee Branch Platting DATE: June 16, 2011 BACKGROUND As part of the Bee Branch construction project, the home at 2300 Washington Street was purchased among others throughout the project area. As part of the sustainable construction effort, some of the homes are being relocated adjacent to the Bee Branch. The home at 2300 Washington was deconstructed in 2010. Since this lot has a frontage of 60 feet, two smaller dwellings are planned to be relocated to the lot. DISCUSSION The attached Plat of Survey of Lot 1 and Lot 2 of Bee Branch Subdivision No. 1 subdivides Lot 1 of the Middle 60 Feet of Lot 104 of L.H. Langworthy's Addition to allow the homes at 320 and 324 East 24 Street to be moved onto the new lots. RECOMMENDATION Dubuque All-Amesica City ' IIII ' 2007 An owner's consent is required on the platting documents prior to recording. It is my recommendation that this plat of Lot 1 and Lot 2 of Bee Branch Subdivision No. 1 be approved and signed by the Mayor in order to make available two parcels for relocated homes.
