Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2011 CDBG
Access Ramp Installation Project was awarded on June 16, 2011, to Skyline Trucking &
Storage, in the amount of $30,767.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2011 CDBG Access
Ramp Installation Project be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

The 2011 CDBG Access Ramp Installation Project provides for the replacement
of twenty -one (21) access ramps at various locations.
The following is a summary of the bids received:
Skyline Trucking & Storage, Inc. $30,767.00
D &D Concrete, Inc. $31,697.50
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project
was awarded on June 16, 2011, to Skyline Trucking & Storage of Dubuque,
Iowa, in the amount of $30,767.00.
In accordance with the competitive quotation requirements of Iowa Code, Section
26.14, it is necessary that the award for the 2011 CDBG Access Ramp
Installation Project be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
