Dear Ann:
It was a pleasure to meet you last Friday and hear about the exciting programs in
Dubuque. I want to extend my appreciation to you and City staff for providing us with a
very enjoyable and informative workshop. It was interesting to hear your story and how
you became involved in City commissions and then a member of Council.
We look forward to reviewing all the information provided at the workshop and how we
might incorporate various facets of Dubuque's programs and practices here in Davenport.
I would also like to extend an invitation to you to visit Davenport to learn more about our
successes and see the exciting developments in our downtown.
Improving our community certainly adds to the quality of life. Meeting with our
neighbonng communities such as Dubuque certainiy added to assist us In doing just that
for our community. Again, Dubuque was a terrific host and for that we can't thank you
enough.

professional and educational presentation. I know the demands on staffs time are great
and know that all of the Davenport visitors appreciated the time and effort spent on the
