RE: Fiscal Year 2001-2005 Capital Improvement Program
Dear Mayor and City Council Members:
On February 23, the Long Range Planning Advisory Commission reviewed the City
Manager's recommended Fiscal Year 2001-2005 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
One of the Commission's duties is to offer our opinion as to whether the
recommended five -year CIP is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. The
Commission's consensus is that the FY 2001-2005 CIP is consistent with the goals
outlined in the Comprehensive Plan, and we recommend that the City Council approve
the CIP.
The Commission is pleased to see funding for the Dodge Street bike/hike trail included
in the CIP, and we thank the City Manager for responding to our request to include this
project in the five-year CIP again.
