Spence, Leisure Services Managet SUBJECT: Storybook Hill Children's Zoo Lease INTRODUCTION The purpose of this memorandum is to ask City Council approval of the attached lease agreement with the Dubuque Children's Zoo Boosters, DISCUSSION The Dubuque Children's Zoo Boosters have operated the Storybook Hill Children's Zoo on a ten acre section of the former Roosevelt Park since 1976, It was not until 1995 that a forma/lease agreement was written allowing for this usage, That five year lease expires on April 30, 1000, and the Zoo Boosters would like a new lease, J.
