Vehicle Damage
This is a claim in which the claimant alleges that as he was unloading his 2004 Ford
Truck at the Landfill, a landfill driver ran over some nearby boards, causing the boards to
flip up and dent the tailgate of claimant's vehicle.
According to the report of Don Vogt, Operations & Maintenance Manager, Landfill
Supervisor Tom Driscoll investigated this incident and reported that the incident and
damage cited by the claimant are accurate, and the estimate appears to be reasonable.
It is therefore the recommendation of Don Vogt to approve this claim for the amount of the
submitted estimate of $344.39. The Legal Department concurs with this recommendation.
