CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

Present: Chairperson Dick Wertzberger, Commissioners Loras Kluesner and Merle Duehr
Also Present: Personnel Manager Randy Peck

Approval of Agenda and Minutes of September 21,2004
Commissioner Kluesner moved to approve the agenda as distributed. Seconded by Duehr,
passed unanimously.
Commissioner Duehr moved to approve the minutes of the September 21, 2004 meeting.
Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
2.
Request to Schedule an Examination for the Position of Sanitation Driver
Commissioner Duehr moved to receive and file the communication of the City Manager
and to schedule a promotional examination for the position of Sanitation Driver, that the
examination be open to all current City employees and that the time limit for the list be
established at two years. Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
Duehr further moved that the date of the examination be set as November 18, 2004 at
a place and time to be determined and that the deadline for applications be established
as 5:00 p.m., November 1, 2004. Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
3.
Withdrawal of the Appeal of Joshua Abitz
Commissioner Duehr moved to accept the communication of Stephen Juergens
withdrawing the appeal of Joshua Abitz. Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned at 3:05 p.m.
