Narrative Description: This property is located in the Jackson Park Historic District. StyleNear: post-1872, pre-1884, 1886+/- Assessor, Italianate style two-story brick side gable six-plex row house, style embodied in bracketed cornice, returned eaves, narrow windows. Designer/Builder: Physical Description: rectangular plan, (each of four units is L-shaped, with intervening light wells, long dimension 44', short at wells 29', width of frontages 15'6", width of rear wings between wells, 23'), raised stone foundation, rounded stone lintels with flattened ends, fenestration intensive, vertically aligned but irregular in spacing, entries paired, each unit has a two-story rear wing with intervening light wells, no porches. Three gable roof dormers survive on the east part of the plan. Alterations: window replacements, one metal entry canopy (building had no porches originally), mix of concrete decks and stoops. West unit gained a two-story side gable addition by 1909. Lintels painted on west unit, six units likely consolidated to four, one door sealed with small window. Permits note re- roofing in 1939 (south half), 1942, 1975, 1989 (all 1 07), same 1954, 1989 (both 111), 1934, 1989 (both 115), fire escape 115). Landscaping/Setting: alley corner lot, slopes to the east, building fronts south. 8.
