The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M. by Harlan Willenborg, and announced that it
was being conducted in accordance with Iowa Open Meetings Law. Order of business was
as follows:
Minutes of last meeting read. Motion to accept made by Harlan Willenborg, seconded by
Stan Gonner. All in favor of motion.
The Board reviewed the application for City of Dubuque plumbing license. The Board will
have Bryan Reisen verify his past employment before approval or denial of a plumbing
license.
Chris Kennedy from the City of Dubuque Water Dept. commented that the plumbers were
not testing the RPZ's. Staff informed him that on every final, he asks the status of the
RPZ's. If the Water Dept. doesn't receive the forms, they should shut the water off until
compliance is met. Chris Kennedy said they are user friendly. Staff responded that it
sounds like a department problem.
The Board would like spot inspections on out of town contractors to see if compliance with
the journeyman to apprentice ratio is being followed.
Motion to adjourn made by Dan Harris, seconded by Stan Gonner.
